Introduced in 1981, the Konica C35 EF3 was the last iteration of the zone-focusing Konica C35 camera model. The C35 EF3 is initially available in red, blue and black. Later, silver, white, yellow and blue metallic colors were added, for a total of 7 colors.

C35 EF3 is slightly smaller than the previous generation, and the appearance is more stylish. The lens was also updated from the 38mm f/2.8 Hexanon to 4 groups 5-element Hexanon 35mm f/2.8 lens .
