Optima I is a rangefinder film camera with a retro and German-style appearance manufactured by AGFA in 1960-64.
It was the successor to the Optima and one of the first cameras to feature a fully automatic exposure mode. Optima I lets the camera choose the appropriate exposure setting through the selenium light meter. The Optima series lays the foundation for the fully automatic camera era for decades to come.
