Many film cameras like Olympus' Mju series and Canon's Autoboy series offer panorama (wide view mode).
The panorama of the film camera is not the same as the panorama mode of the smartphone. The former only adds black borders up and down the film.
Even so, after using the panorama mode, the ratio of the photo becomes wider, and the composition is more "movie-like", forming the illusion of a wider photo, which is suitable for shooting landscapes.
