Cine films have high exposure latitude, natural colours, and low graininess. They are divided into "D" and "T", D refers to Daylight, and T refers to Tungsten.

In order to make the film smoother in screenings, cine films have an extra layer of graphite than a regular film which cannot be washed in the C-41 process. Cine film needs to be developed with the ECN-2 process. To develop a cine film, ensure that the shop you find supports the ECN-2 process. Developing cine films takes longer, and the price is also higher.

Most of the cine films on the market are self-packed by the shopkeepers using second-handed film tubes labelled with self-designed labels. So do not be surprised if you tear off the label and find the name of a regular film on it! Please do not tear off the label yourself to avoid confusing it with regular film for development.

As more and more films are discontinued, and there are few choices on the market, trying out film films will bring you a new experience.
