在70年代中期，輕便的單反相機開始成為趨勢，於是Konica便於1976年推出Konica 「Acom-1」 。在其他國家市場上則以「Autoreflex TC」命名。

Konica Acom-1 同時具備還具有快門先決模式和手動曝光模式，在快門先決模式，當你決定了快門速度後，相機就會自動調整到適當的光圈。此外，相機亦配備自拍定時器，可以10秒的延遲時間。
