Yashica Electro 35 is a reasonably classic rangefinder camera series. This Yashica Electro 35 from 1966 is the ancestor of this series.
Tomioka Optical, known for its high quality, supplies Yashica's lenses. They are very German-style lenses and were among the best lenses in Japan and are known as the Japanese version of Zeiss. This camera also has a high image quality of 45mm f/1.7 large-aperture lens.
Electro means that this camera uses an electromagnet. However, with no battery, it still has a 1/500 mechanical shutter, enough to meet most shooting needs.
Although this camera has more than 50 years, it has complete functions and a clean appearance. It is quite suitable even for collection.
